Executive Assistant

Judy Thrower has over 20 years experience as an executive and administrative assistant, ten of which were spent in the insurance industry supporting executives in property casualty and general liability, as well as life and health insurance.

Judy provides our CEO with the organizational structure to enable him to work freely without being tied down with daily activities that Judy professionally performs. In addition, Judy acts as License Coordinator, maintaining individual insurance licenses for Cowden Associates’ employees and the brokerage licenses for the company.

Judy holds memberships in the Pennsylvania Association of Notaries (PAN) and the Pittsburgh Regional Alliance “Pittsburgh Champions.” Judy has a diploma in network management from the International School of Design Technology. She holds a Pennsylvania Life, Accident and Health license and is in the process of obtaining her Certified Employee Benefits Specialists (CEBS) designation.
