Senior Consultant

Beth Bindas-Vernon has been in the health and benefits industry since 1993, specializing in the development and management of employee benefits programs. She works with our clients to design and implement innovative benefits programs. Beth’s primary responsibilities include consulting projects, financial and plan design analysis, vendor negotiations and employee communications. Prior to joining Cowden Associates, Inc., Beth was with an insurance brokerage firm for over ten years and also gained experience in human resources from the University of Pittsburgh.

Beth graduated from Robert Morris University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Beth also received a Certificate in Human Resources from the University of Pittsburgh. She holds a Pennsylvania Life, Accident and Health license and has earned both the Health Insurance Associate (HIA) and Managed Healthcare Professional (MHP) designations from the Health Insurance Association of America.
